PHOENIX WRIGHT 2:
JUDGE: MR. WRIGHT! Don't you dare take out a mob hit on me! And in addition, I believe you and Prosecutor Edgeworth have been in cahoots on nearly every case presented in this courtroom! Fags! I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON ANYMORE.
PHOENIX+MILES: Worst. Trial. Ever.
(That was a spoiler.)
FURTHER THINGS WE'VE LEARNED SO FAR:
- Miles likes Escargot. And tea. Hopefully not at the same time.
- Gumshoe moonlights as an artist. "Art has always been our primary weapon against oppression, pal!" AND BOY IS GUMSHOE OPPRESSED. Why. It is like kicking a puppy. LAY OFF, MOTHERSCRATCHERS. (I would also venture to guess: "Instant noodles are an age-old ART FORM, pal! You can't just add hot water like an amateur!" "...So why is JUST ADD HOT WATER written right here on the lid?")
- "I said HOLD IT! ... That's better. Ahem. What kind of statement was that? Please elaborate and give us more details!"
- "Can't I get any love in this courtroom?"
- Phoenix has by now become an expert at kicking down doors in attempts to save damsels in distress. Step aside, step aside, I got this.
- Max Galactica is not wearing pants for at least half that episode.
- Ratio of normal statements to instances of Phoenix yelling, "EDGEWORTH!!!": delightfully disproportionate.
- Oh Edgeworth. So intelligent, and yet you can't tell a toothless pervert with shingles from a real doctor.
- Phoenix knows how to cook, and cook well. Not for himself, though, as office is not equipped with kitchen.
- Phoenix only cleans his dwelling/office once a year, on New Year's, clearly as a ritual to bring in a good new year.
- BUT MY GOD THEIR HOLIDAYS ARE PATHETIC. And just when things can't get any sadder, someone gets murdered.
- I note that the three people (save Edgeworth) who openly proclaim their UNTIRING RIVALRY against Phoenix are in fact rivals for Edgeworth's affection. And Wendy Oldbag calls him a poof to boot.
- GOOD GOD ENGARDE PUT THAT SHIT AWAY. And stop drinking. Where the hell did that glass even come from.
- AND HOW IS EVERY CASE GAYER THAN THE LAST. You'd think they reached total saturation by Game 1 Case 4. BUT NO, Game 1 Case 5! BUT NO, GAME 2 CASE 5. "Wright, STOP CRYING."
- "I'm afraid words aren't enough. Is there anything I can give him to show him how I feel?"
.....
