getting better
Every day that goes by I learn to live in my own skin and be happy.
I'm still bored at the office - but i guess thats to be expected. Its hard to go from a social working circle of 100 people down to 4 people, 5 dogs and 1 two year old.
My road "wife" aka best friend from the tour - is home now and i'm so happy. She lives in Venice Beach, so we've spent a lot of time together. Its nice to have someone that can share - who was a part of the amazing summer i had. Love the Jennerator!
No word from Deen since he called and gave me his home number. I'm worried about him, and am trying to get over him at the same time. He's an ex addict - and apparently he hasn't contacted anyone lately. So i'm in good company, but still - i'm worried. I can get over the emotional rock star doesn't love me bullshit - but i'm not ready to bury a friend.
I've started dressing like a girl again - i even bought a few dresses and a skirt the other day. I also picked up two pairs of Siren by Mark Nasson boots. OMG I love them so much!
Tomorrow night - back to the dentist - i'm almost finished with all the work i started - cleaning tomorrow - then in a few weeks i'm doing oral surgery to lengthen my tooth area - yuck.
Wednesday is grocery delivery day - i haven't purchased groceries in 4 months - so i decided just to order from Vons.com - so they can lug them up my stairs. The prices are reasonable and they will even put the stuff away if you want.
Thursday is hair day - i'm going back to Tommy - who does the Heart girls hair. I got lazy and started doing it on my own, and it shows.
In November i have a one off with Deana - in Washington State. Its a middle of the week gig - so it will be nice to get out of town for a couple of days.
Looks like the next Heart shows will be in Feb or March - and there are rumors of another big tour.
Next time i need a house/cat sitter i'm looking for a gay man. The guy that stayed in my apartment (rent free) trashed it. broken window, dishes, stains on the carpet and ruined my favorite 600 thread count sheets (which i had to throw away).
enough for tonight - i'm going to put on some make-up and go grab a cocktail somewhere close by....
