Exam relief

Oct 18, 2007 17:48

Over and done with for now. Can't do anything else about it, so I'm not going to think on it again until the result comes out in December.

Consisted of two smaller essays and two larger essays in a 3 hour exam. I got 45 minutes of breaks and did the exam at home on the laptop with an invigilator (nice lady). That helped bring me a little more in line with 'normal' people, but truthfully I'm pretty much in agony now. Had to just quit about 2:30 hours in, couldn't do any more felt way too rough. She wrote that down on the invigilator sheet and told me to consider filling in a form to say about additional circs, but don't think I'll bother.

I did questions on slavery, slave trade, new imperialism, the Burgundian state, Luther's reforms. I need 40% to pass. My essays have mostly been high 70's/low 80's. I know everyone generally does worse on exams than essays, so am just crossing fingers (when I can again *smile*) that I passed. In the event I don't there are re-sits in January. I know the work, I just have problems getting it down in one without several rewrites where I've changed my mind.

Am now going to quietly go die somewhere. But with a smile on my face.

exam, history
