ranting . .
I'm following the trend and ranting about things. Mostly Gay marriage cause it's on my mind. I understand that it's against the christian religion and all that good crap. I understand where people come from but first of all not everyone is Christian and they have the right to be married by a justice of the peace. and PLEASE as if anyone is sinless. I'm sorry if a murderer can still be called a Christian in the eyes of people than there is NO reason why a gay or lesbian person can't either. I understand people making a fuss over this, but frist of all not everyone is Christian, secondly when this country was founded one of the first rules was SEPERATION OF RELIGION AND STATE! There shouldn't be rules against marriage as long as it's by consenting adults. I agree with my friend that too many people marry for the wrong reasons. People should get married for love and love alone. People associate their religion with everything, i understand that. I do it too. But as far as I'm concerned religion should have nothing to do with goverment. The only thing that makes any religion true is our beleif. That doesn't make it any less true. But unless their is undenyable proof, a religion shouldn't be a fundmental part in goverment. And yes some people may point out the bible as evidence, but may I say. We weren't there when it was written, we don't know for sure WHO it was written by, at least not parts of it, and I'm sorry but as far as I'm concerned, and I felt this way when I was younger and still going to church and sunday-school, yes, little wiccan me went to sunday school, and I have read parts of the bible, the bible is NOT what it was when it was first written. And as far as I'm concerned the Catholic church is a foul orginzation that is as corrupt as any modern monopoly, there is no way that they haven't changed the wording and their teaching to suit their desires. I have a feeling that I'm gonna get some fun comments on this post. I'm off. Bye
