I'm new here...my heritage is Scottish (I believe....my surname is McHargue, which I've had * a lot * of difficulty researching).

I have a friend whose surname is Mac Harg (I never saw your spelling till now, but I assume it must be the same name) so I'll ask him if he knows anything about its origin and so on.
