Would you really want to see an angel?

Since I'm on my short (hopefuly) 'Summer Brake', I've seemed to keep myself pritty damn busy. There were alot of things I needed to do, and alot still need to be done. So far, this week, I've picked up the CD from HMV (oooou, hard work I know) Droped Bets off for her seasonal tune up and oil change, finaly booked another road test for my G licance. Man, that took a long time to get my curage up to do so. I mean, two years is quite alot. But now that I have booked it, I feel alittle relived. Now all I have to do is pass it this time and I'm sailing free. Its on May 28th at 9:05, so I just need to remeber that. Man, last time I booked a test like that it was two munths away, not 28 days later. OOOu, 28 days later, I smell a movie title :P.

The things I still need to do is take my computer into the shop and find out why the hell my jump drives dont want to work, and pay/sign up for my summer sumester. I sign up tomorow at the registrars office. I'm not sure what time, so I'm just going to go in at 9 and see what happends. Man, I'm not use to all this hallabaloo. I cant really complane since it needs to be done and its not like someone else is going to do it.

Other then that just alot of house work and what not. Like raking the leaves that people were too lazy to rake back in the fall, sweeping the driveway (but I got shmart and just sweped it all in a pile and used the shop vac) and what not. Like I said, I'm not used to all this hallabaloo.

Other then that? Well, because I'm silly, I asked for extra hours at the library without knowing my scedual for the summer. I mean, I dont even know when my 'classes' are going to be this summer. But I'm just praying it isint from 1-9 on mondays or thirsdays. And if they are, I'm going to have a fun conversation with Marry. I'm sure she'll understand, she's pritty easy going. I'll just re-pay her in choloates or coffee.

So then, in other news? Well, the CD I got from HMV isint all it was cracked up to be. The album is called Milliontown, by a band called Frost*. Basicly two membors of IQ and Ariena had nothing better to do, so they made the album. That alone, for me, was enough to think about getting the album, but the thing that put it over the top was the last song on the album was clocked at 26 minuets. Now you all know me, the longer the song, the better the song. So I ordered it just before my exsams. Well, it came in over the weekend, and my brother forgot to tell me aboot it untill yesteday morining. But at least he told me about it. So I drives over and picked it up yesterday. I give it a spin. Here are my first few thoughts about the album....

The first song is by far the best song. The second, thrid and forth song are just kinda meh. I'm not sure what they were aming for for this album, but it just seemed like they were exparimenting with different of sounds that already have been used, which is fine, but they never really did anything with them. The fith song is good, only for the fact that they did some awesome tech stuff. Like Owner of a Lownly heart, minouse the mainstreem, and on crack. Add in alittle saga genesis videogame sounding music and your just a lovely little song. That and it was the only song I heard pryer to purcusing the album, and I had a dream with that crazy music in it. So I thought the rest of the album would follow suite. I geuss not.

The last song, the big 26 minuet song.....was a let down. I was expecting alittle more. They only had one or two good movements, and they always ended them short before you could really get into it. And the end of the song....the big umph I love about long songs, was vacent. There was nothing there, it just ended; as though they, like the lisiner, just got borrd with the song and desided to just stop. I was grately sadened by this turn of events. They had some very promising things that could have happend, but it just died. Like a grate racketball shot, it has all this momentom, and the second it hits the wall phath, it just rolls across the floor.

So there you have it. My little acount of this album. Although it's only my first thought, so who knows. It might start growning on me.

In other other news? Well, I cant wait for friday. Erin is coming down to Barrie from Oraingevill with a few friends for her birthday to see Spiderman 3. Man, I've had to overt my eyes from the t.v. screen everytime they're about to show anything remotly close to venom. I want it to be a suprise for me in the theater. I dont want any spoilers or previes of him. I know he's in it since one prevue kept saying "enter venom" or "you wanted him, now here Venom is!" and I'm shealding my eyes saying "NO! IT BIRNS! I MUST NOT SEE!" So of corse thats going to be just awesome.

That and Buddy is in one week tomorow!!!!!! BOOYEAH!!!!!  I cant wait, hopefuly they'll play me and bill as Alexei and I had requested of them last year. I'm bringing me camra to get a photo of the gang afterwords. And to congatulate the trio on their awesomeness.

Oh! I shall end on an awesome note. I looked at me marks for the Winter turm and get this: 85 for Psych 101, Developmental Psych and Perception. 78 in Poli Sci (which is what I usualy get anyways) and a 70 in english. My english teacher gave me a 70% after all, giving my overall avrage an 80! An avrage of freaking 80! I'm a Freakin' Honiers student now. How awesome is that? I'll tell you how awesome, Freakin A awseome! And I shall leave you with that very happy note.

hallabaloo, school, work
