Today my IQ CD finally came in. The on I ordered back in May for the releace date of June 2nd. It was only a month and a half late. But It was well worth the wait. It is amasing!
Well, the first song is pure gold. I keep listining to it over and over again. I can't get enough of it. The rest of the album (so far) is really good, but never quite as good as 'Frequency'. I geuss they named the album after the best song on it. I know theres a story behind the whole thing, something to the effect of a ''ghost in the machine'' kind of thing. So far, I'm really digging it. I haven't been able to listen to anything else.
It also came with a speciel edition DVD consert. This made Michael a happy boy. It has alot of my favorit IQ tracks on it, like 'Harvest of Souls' 'Frequency' 'The Wake' 'The Seventh house' and even 'Subternia'. So I watched it tonight. Again, Michael = Happy boy.
And thats about all I wanted to mention.
Oh, I supose wile I'm here I'll update about what I've been up to. Short form of course.
I headed down to Barrie on Wednesday last week. Not much there, just drove down, had dinner and then picked up my brother and we whent to Moosewinuskies since thats what my dad and brother always do on Wednesdays. Jordan was there, and the guy wouldn't leave my side the intire night.
Thursday Alexei and I were bord so we drove down to Cookstown outlet mall. Fun times. Then we cheacked out 'Blue Beetle' which is now at the corner of Ardagh and Essa. They had 'Thessilly: Witch for Higher' which I was gushing over. I had to resist buying it since I can't by anything untill my birthday. Then we whent to Big Johns, then to baskin Robens, and then back to his place for some Grand Terizmo 4. Then I was back at my place and Jordan was there again. Yeah, he didn't leave my side again untill his mom came to pick him up. Even then he wouldn't leave. I think the kid likes me.
Friday I road tripped with my dad all aroud Markham. Good times. Then Alexei, Dann and myself went to ribb fest. Thems were some good meat. And some very nice racks too.
Saturday was the football game. As I said before, it was fun. After the game Stephanie and I went to see Bruno. Oh dear God. My eyes. Funny funny movie, but dear lord! You know its bad when you see two men chained together on a bed in leather and different asortment of toys sticking out of their orphisis, and you think 'meh....thats not so bad'. I'm going to have to give this a 6 out of 10. It was funny, and I did laugh, but at the cost of my emortal soul. Whats even worse was that I had to see it again the next night since I promised my brother I'd see it with him. If I thought it was bad the first time, the second time was just as desturbing.
Anyways, after Bruno on Saturday Stephanie and I went back to her place and watched some TV, scetched out how many people you'd need after a Zombie apocolips to proper re-populate the earth (The answer is 8, 4 girls 4 guys) and then I whent back to my dads.
On Sunday I hung out with Ashley. We met at our usual Casa Capacheno, and then we walked around the water frunt and then whent back to her place. She gave me two of her spair birned CDs: The new 'Mars Volta' CD: Octrahedron, and the 'Tool' album Aenima. The Mars Volta CD is really really good. I haven't had a chance to listen to the Tool album, but I hear it is also good. Then, as I said before, my brother and I went to see Bruno.
And on Monday I drove back up to Sudbury, and here I stay untill firther notice. I'll be back in Barrie soon, as my car will need an oil change and tune up. The frunt right axel is making weird noices, like metel rubbing up against rusty metel. Probibly should get that checked up on.
