Tardis Car
My neighbor originally posted this to her blog (http://community.livejournal.com/crafty_tardis/75011.html#cutid1) but I thought I would post it here as well to give more details.
My son is a HUGE DW fan, (as well he should be...we ALL are in this house) and he is also in Cub Scouts. So, when Pinewood Derby came up, he wanted a DW themed car, and what better to do than a TARDIS!?!?
He took the car kit, and thought about the design (keep in mind he was only 6 at the time!) He and my husband worked out all the "dynamics" of cutting the block of wood, and sanding etc. (sorry no pictures of this, but I was working while they did this)
Then came time for the painting. He painted the entire car himself, and asked me to help with the decorating (putting the words etc on it) and here is the finished product!
