This is why I wanted my kid to go to public school/college/university.... the #$%^&*() private ones cost an arm and a leg and then they screw you over by never having to live up to their published requirements. I mean if you go to state u you get a book with course requirements all laid out. And those are the courses you take . They can't add 3 units of Klingon or French in the middle and even if it takes 10 years you entered under the program and you finish under it.
These $%^&*() private colleges with their "we can do it faster" or "while you work" or "without a Master's degree" siren songs change the rules all the times and they're even worse than public scholls at hiring idiots and screwups to "advise" students.
Thank god EAK knows how to stand up for herself...they're pulling the usual shit on her.... Graduate? but you haven't taken the courses we want you to take.... just the ones we told you to take and they didn't cost enough money so take some more.... Thing is-- she can't. She's in grad school... accepted because the school said she was done and now they say she isn't??!!!
Poor baby must be so tired of all this crap.
And then there's her brother He who was once the "perfect boy"). Boy did they screw him over.... oh, pay for all these fancy courses at the fancy private school and can we loan you more $$$$? and be the TA but you have to find your own $500,000 to pay for the research project to actually get the PhD. Schmucks.
It's tiring enough to deal with work and college ---to have to deal with screwups and schmucks is just too much. Have a good cry, baby. Then go out and get a chocolate bar. Tomorrow will be better. How's the follow up on the job apps going?
And have you checked in with the school itself for work or work study lately?
