A long drive and my birthday!
OK. So it was a long and somewhat expensive trip to Virginia but it was worth it Melinda had a great time and got to meet to really great friends that she has met on LJ, they were wonderful they took us to a see a beautiful botanical garden and a wonderful dinner which was my birthday present to myself, which was great the waiter was excellence he even brought me a piece of cake with one candle in it and he was going to ask the piano player to sing me Happy birthday but said he didn’t know if I would have been embarrassed about it so he didn’t and that was cool. Melinda of course made out like a bandit and with beads and books I even got her friends each a book from the book store and of course the chocolate store was so wonderful. Dresden was great the entire trip and was so good I could not have been prouder of him, I have some pictures not to many but I am sure those will go on Melinda’s journal as she will be bouncing off the lap top to put them up on hers, they even gave her some beads. She had a great time now only one more vacation to take to PA and I don’t have to worry about the dog as I know he will be good I would like to get a better situation set up for him though so he can stretch out more and be more comfortable in the back seat. I got great gas millage and that was awesome 31.5 and 29 around town so I was happy there. I came home cleaned up washed laundry clean up the kitchen some looked at the mail still need to contact aflac about some of Melinda’s hospital bills from the test and some of the doctor’s bill’s as well. I can say this I am tired now that is for sure I had to stop on the way home didn’t want to get into an accident and it had started to rain so I thought be smart and just stop so we did called in got an extra vacation day so that worked out. I still need to water the plants stilling down now in a my favorite easy chair while Melinda is taking a nap! Will post again soon hope everyone had a great weekend.
