Amaterasu is wandering around the castle now, sniffing around and exploring curiously.  To the average person, she looks like a simple white wolf, but to those with true faith, her power is visible...

Her tail's wagging contently, and she's enjoying exploring the castle... care to approach?

Ooh! A dog! Dogs were about as manly as pets got. Of course, there was the childish aspect of Roger that was immediately drawn to dogs too. "Hey there, doggy!" he called, bounding over to the dog. That fur was really cool-looking.

"Arru," Ammy greeted happily, wagging her tail at the boy. She loved kids especially - they usually fed her more.

Roger didn't so much as ask the dog if he could pet her. Everyone knows Surferians have good instincts about animals, and he could tell that this one wasn't unfriendly. "How'd you get here, girl?"

She didn't bother answering, she simply leaned into her petting and licked at Roger's face.

"Haha, hey, watch it!" he laughed, wiping the drool off a little bit with his sleeve. "Are you someone's pet? Or are you a student?"

And still no answer. Not like she could give one. She grabbed Roger's cap, prancing away playfully.

"Hey! I need that!" he yelled, despite most likely having a closet shelf filled with identical pieces. He broke into a light run, chasing her but making sure not to try too hard. Pitting an unwitting dog against the agility of a Menodix would be rude and unmanly.

Ammy began to increase her speed, enjoying this new game. It was a bit like playing with the woman in Kamiki or racing Iyoten.

Roger picked up his own pace to match, diving after the hat as soon as he felt he was close enough.

And Ammy pivoted, jumped over Roger, and then kicked off the air to get a little additional distance, landing a ways behind the small playmate. It wasn't often she got to show off like this.

Roger made a small "oof" noise upon hitting the ground, but he quickly scrambled to his feet, unharmed. "That's a pretty cool trick you've got there!"

Amused and entertained, she tossed the cap back, wagging her tail contently.

Roger caught it, pulling it on tight so it couldn't be stolen again. "Hey, you know what? You should come to my class! I bet you could teach all the morons in there a thing or two. Even though you're a girl. You are a girl, right?"

Ammy barked, wagging her tail. Considering she was here as a student, it would only make sense to come to class.

"Good! Can't wait to see ya. I gotta go do teacher stuff, but we can play some other time, okay?"
