This... this isn't funny. This isn't funny. First I get my boys back for a day, and now this. The City changes him and makes him like this again. I can't. What am I supposed to do? I think--I think they've switched roles for the day. I've been talking to Knives, and from what I can tell, that's what seems to have happened.

No, it's different than that. Their timelines are different than what we know. I know Vash's, but I'm trying to figure out Knives'.

...It's bizarre. I asked Knives, and he said--he said that him and Vash usually get along, except now Vash is acting differently in the City. He said he wondered if the City might've done it, which is when the curses came up.

Do? There's not much we can do since they're cursed except...try to keep things as quiet as possible. Honestly, I'm hoping I won't have to try to do anything at all.

They won't be. But... I'm going to figure something out tomorrow night when it gets close to time. I'll just need to think of something to get Knives to leave the apartment and deal with Vash until it's over.
