Thank yous!

Just a drabble; "Texture."

Once when Panthera was quite young, his father traveled far to the east. He was gone a very long time, and when he returned he brought a cart filled with bolts of silk, heavy and fine, dyed an unfathomable rainbow of shades.

His family played in the fabrics like children, comparing colors and prints. Panthera was working on a midnight blue tent when he realized his parents had slipped away from the excitement.

Kanda's hair is as heavy and soft as the silk he once peered through, and Panthera is afraid his hands will linger too long as he braids.

Double drabble, "Nothing sez lovin'..."

"Oooh, how delectable!" Ayame cried, taking a blueberry muffin from the basket Tohru had carefully arranged them in and stuffing it into his mouth.

Kyo glared. "The hell did you come from?"

"Clearly, I caught the mouthwatering scent from--"

Yuki turned his sleepy gaze to Shigure. "You text messaged him, didn't you."

"Now, now," Shigure said cheerfully, setting into the chair and grabbing a muffin of his own. "An artist never reveals his secrets."

Tohru delicately took a muffin for herself and sat down at the table. They ate to the steady background noise of Ayame's chatter, until the inevitable happened.

A single muffin sat in the bottom of the basket, waiting to be claimed. For a moment, tension hung in the air.

Ayame was the first to strike.

He faced the inevitable glares with a cheerful smile. "But gentlemen," he said smoothly, "surely Tori-san should not be denied such a magnificent treat?"

Shigure, Kyo, and Yuki settled back into their seats and Tohru smiled brilliantly. "That's a wonderful idea, Ayame-san! I'm sure Hatori-sensei would love a muffin."

"I will deliver it in person," Ayame exclaimed, and snapped open his cellphone. "Good morning! I have the most wonderful news...."

I'm not entirely sure I got the nickname for Hatori right. Ripped it off from Shigure's Secret Homosexual Bondage Dungeon, so it should be. Also, go read it.
