It's been such a long day. I didn't get as much sleep as I would've hoped last night (since I stayed up until a bit past midnight finishing Mansfield Park), so today I did not have the energy that was needed to get through my first class in three weeks. Mr. Ball just about killed me. I didn't even stay the full two hours, since I had to scoot out and get back to work to help close up. Still, an hour and a half of dance was enough to tell me how quickly I had gotten out of shape. I didn't think I'd be that bad since I've been running, but ah, there is no exercise that can replace that of dance. I hope I'm not incredibly sore tomorrow. Time will tell.
So, it's only nine days into the Hurricane Season and we already have a tropical storm -- HELLOOOOOO, Arlene! I have a question for you, Arlene. Do you realize that numerous people STILL have blue roofs??? Yeah, just thought I'd ask.
I was hoping to go running tonight since I haven't run at all this week, but it looks like I wont get home in time. I'll just have to tell myself that there's no option BUT to run tomorrow. Liz is making me feel all lazy and bum-like since I didn't try to go swimming with her yesterday, and I'm not swimming with her now. I don't like swimming that much. I know it's better for my knees, but I don't like having to hold my breath. My lung capacity is practically null. Tonight I'll turn on the Black Hawk Down soundtrack and do pushups and crunches. Really, I will ... alright, alright, if it's not Black Hawk Down it'll be something else, but I WILL do some sort of strengthening exercises.
Random thought: So, Lou m'dear, when do you think you'll be getting a new car? And for how cheap can I get New Sexy (which should then become Old Sexy II)? I'm getting very much into a gadget mood -- I want to get my laptop, purchase a digital camera, and, yup, get a car.
Alright, I'm ending this. I am most eager and ready for the weekend to be here.
P.S. I feel like getting dressed up and going out this weekend. Enough is enough. I want to "GET UP AND GO!"
