on a second thought backwards whim we went to a party last night. it was good and i enjoyed myself. i barely knew anyone and alex was there but he didn't know anyone at all. people talked to us like we were more than silly teenagers and i barely felt uncomfortable and we had some drinks. my head started feeling fuzzy and my eyes were taking too long to follow when i moved my head so we left early but it was warm and we had citronella candles burning and i didn't even feel sad for a few minutes. it wasn't the best time i've ever had but i look back and think where was summer? was that it?
