[The Burning Path's pale daughter is invigorated by his cruel light, she stands taller, her dark eyes opening wide to take in all the warmth she can, pulling in his poisons.]

[Helius can only watch, eyes filled with both fascination and fear, incapable of fully understanding. Time has stopped in his world--seasons are no longer a reality. Where there was snow, the snow will not melt away. Where there was sunlight, there will always be sunlight. Where time stopped at night, it will remain night. There are so many changes and shifts in these worlds...]

[Her gaze shifts towards him curiously, takes in his expression without really understanding it. But she knows him, and so she goes to him.]

Are you well, Helius?

[timelocked]

[There's a beat. He nods, politely, unsmiling. His expression isn't grave, however. Perhaps just a little nervous.]

... Yes.

[another pause.] I've never seen this before...

[rape_seed]

[Her hand flits through the air in a surprisingly easy gesture, strange in comparison to the hand-twisting fear she usually bears.]

This is Father's time. Isn't the sun wonderful?

[The flower's head tips back to take it in, eyes turned to dark pools, lips parted.]

[timelocked]

[He eventually smiles, nodding again. He's always preferred the warmer places.] It is...

[He's looking ahead when he says that, and only notices the change in Connie's eyes after the prolonged silence brings him to look at her.]

... Connie?

[rape_seed]

[She stares upwards unblinking for another long silent moment before her lashes fall to her cheek. She returns her attention to him, slowly.]

Yes, Helius?

[timelocked]

[There slight hesitance.] Are you alright?

[rape_seed]

Oh, yes. This is the first time, Helius, as myself that I have bloomed... It is as wonderful as I remember.

[She smiles delightedly.]

[timelocked]

[He exhales, then lets himself relax a little. Helius offers her a smile in return.]

That's good, then.

[rape_seed]

[Her expression is pleased, excited.]

[timelocked]

[And he clenches his hands, raising his eyebrows. His wings unfold slightly.] Yes, of course! Where will it be?

[rape_seed]

Everywhere. I will be everywhere, in the breeze, in the sunlight, the water. My time, all of me.

[timelocked]

[whoa girl whoa] Really? So... I won't have to look for you?

[rape_seed]

[A soft laugh.] You should never have to look for me.

[timelocked]

[He doesn't quite understand it, at first, but eventually smiles again. She's happy; that encourages him to be happy as well.]

[And there's a pause. He looks ahead again.] What will happen next?
