Hmph. Thanksgiving indeed.
If there's one thing that gets under Discordia's skin, it's harmony. All that gratefulness, people coming together to give thanks and sharing with one another. It puts her in a bad mood, you know. (Black Friday shoppers only help a little.) Eris, Goddess of Discord, can't simply sit around while everyone gets along. That would just be neglect.
So, as you're going about your day, don't be surprised if you're feeling a touch of her influence.
Maybe it's a small thing. Maybe you're just feeling more cranky than usual, or you woke up on the wrong side of your bed. Maybe things just don't go your way. A car drives by and splashes your new jacket with mud, or someone bumps into you and decides you're at fault for getting in the way. Or maybe it's something even bigger. Perhaps Eris has something else in store for you, like a fight with someone-- a stranger, a friend, a lover.
Whatever it is, today, you're bound to see a little trouble.
