And................GO!
I've been working down in the fabrication department lately and I like my new boss quite a bit. He's eager to teach and I get along with him pretty well. I start classes next week and I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to add another one to my load. Last week I worked Mon-Sat and put in about 60 hours so I'll have a nice check this week.
I had family up from Arkansas this past weekend. My Aunt was up that I'm really close to. Her and her husband are old enough to be my grandparents and they helped raised me and have helped me out a lot over the years. Unfortunately, my uncle couldn't make it up and hasn't been here in quite a while. His father has been sick for years and is living with them and he's afraid to leave him. He's really upset that he hasn't been able to see my niece or any other of the kids in the family so I gave my mom some money and her, my sister and my niece are leaving in the morning to go visit him.
I went to a block party/festival type thing this weekend with my brother and his wife. I had a pretty good time, had some beers and hung out. My brother's wife is definitely dealing with some sever post-partum depression, though. I feel really bad for her and I hope that she can get some help. I slept a whole four hours that night on may one day to sleep in so I was dragging ass on monday, ohh to sleep in.
