i had the most beautiful model last night in my drawing class. its so refreshing to get a model you want to draw for hours. hopefully she'll be back so i can make something good enough to show you guys!
last night after class, alison, kate, jess and i went to the jazz club i meant to go to on my birthday. its off borgo pinti in this small alley way in the basement. it is the best thing i have discovered and cant wait to go back. i plan to become a regular there. tuesday & wednesday nights are jam sessions and my friend geoff (who is a big blues fan) asked if he could play. he got up and seriously tore the stage apart. i cant believe how amazing he was, none of us could. he sang while playing the guitar and he made it look so easy and effortless. i couldnt believe it. a bunch of other friends from school met up with us. we all sat around, talking about how awesome the club was and enjoying the music. it was really really great.
this morning i had to get up early for my photo field trip to another vineyard. the four of us girls piled into michele's car and headed south, into the hills. the vineyard was about 45 minutes outside of florence and well worth getting up early for. all of the workers were super nice and eager to be our subject. we shot for a good 2 hours and then we had to leave because michele's (our teacher) grandmother is dying, yikes!
i have to get to the market before it closes but ill get pictures up from the vineyard this week(end), i promise!
