test test test
okay, this is getting ridiculous. i tried putting my pictures on my zip drive and uploading them to the school computer so i could upload them this way but thats not working. GODDAMMIT! this just means you all get to wait another day to see the apartment.
last night the roomies (alison, kate and brittney) and i went out to dinner at this really great place called "za za". after walking like we knew where we were going and basically walking a circle around the entire city we found the restaraunt right down the street from school, HAHA. god we suck at this navagation thing. its okay, florence doesnt have clearly labeled street signs and there is a farmacia, tabacchi store, hotel and ristorante on EVERY block, not to mention they all use the same neon signs so most people get lost on a regular basis.
dinner was great, i had a cheese & spinach raviloi with a walnut sauce, mmmmm. im not 100% yet so i didnt get a glass of wine but i tried the other girls, very good. we met up with some other schoolmates and went to this bar called the fish bowl for fish pub or something. it was alright. it was distracting to me because its there strictly for american students and its where creepy old men come and prey on girls. i had one shot and called it quits. the upside to this place is they play all of the radio jams that i love so i know where i can go if i need my fix.
yikes, i have class in 7 minutes and i dont want to be late for my first day of high ren. art history. LOVE!
p.s. walking to streets of florence while listening to the new andrew bird album is so wonderful.
