since my previous post, i have gone from: living in florence, having two weeks left of school, stressing out so bad i cant eat or sleep, studying and writing until i couldnt see straight, not really sad about leaving, excited to see prague (and the list goes on) to: having one more day left in a city i have become so familiar with, leaving people im really fond of, still a little stressed out, extremely excited to start my travels with lahaina and slightly hyper-emotional. everything has changed drastically in a matter of two weeks!

i dont really know where to begin. i havent really been able to process anything because ive had my mom and sister here. ive been so preoccupied with being with them or worry about them getting lost or having a good time that i couldnt breath. but, it was a bittersweet goodbye last night and they are officially on their way back to the states. i sent all my stuff back with ally, it was an extra 150 euro because of one bag! so ridiculous. i am now left with my one backpack and some books. i like it and i hope that feeling lasts until i leave.

paris and prague were interesting. ive been to paris before and the only thing i didnt get to do that i wanted to do was go to the centre pompidou. last time i went, lahaina and i discovered the best pastry ever (amandes) which is an slice of heaven with almonds. so, i let me sister go to hermes and gucci and louis vutton while i treated myself to a pastry and amazing art. it was pretty cute because right as i came up from the metro, saw the museum, and found a pastry shop, etta james' song 'at last' came on, it was pretty perfect.

prague was beautiful. i felt a little suffocated but got some more alone time in with the kampa and kafka museums. i would love to go back in the summer and see how different it is. they just gained freedom from russia only approx 20 years ago, yet its so enriched with history. my mom, sister and i were good jews and went to the jewish quarter, 4 synagogues and the jewish cemetery. one of the four synagogues was the oldest in all of europe, it was pretty crazy.

i still cant really process everything hence why this post is a little whack. but, to settle your visual needs i put a ton of pictures on facebook. maybe they can say more than i can (or not).

just for some who dont read this often and have asked/are curious about where i will be traveling to, here is the tentative list:
-brussels
-amsterdam
-berlin
-munich
-barcelona
-lisbon (where i say good bye to lahaina)
-madrid (where i say hello to borja)
-morocco
-greece
-istanbul
-lyon
-possibly nice
-florence
-THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

phew, i feel like i have to take a deep breath and i havent even started!

starting last night i no longer have an italian cell phone. if you need to contact me i have my us cell phone with the usual number, which, for some who dont have it is: 702-630-1216. ill have it off most of the time but either leave me a message or email me. ill have internet access all next week at lahiana's house, until friday, and then ill try and check once a day or every other day.

keep in touch!
