It's funny. Once I quit Edward II my life has looked much more acceptable. I could no longer pretend to enjoy myself watching a literal trainwreck erect itself on a stage. At least now nobody I know has to endure the torture it would be to actually pay to watch that shitshow. Ok done with rant.
So I got the script for my friend's TV pilot and the part I have is basically who I was in high school. Carnie, the best friend, one of the guys, smart aleck and self-righteous, judgemental of popular people and of course secretly in love with the main character. It's actually a very poignant look at high school and I'm so glad I'm able to be in it. Plus, a free trip to Connecticut and a free hotel room don't hurt either...it's like the spring break I never had. Maybe the prophecy will finally come true and I can visit Mark and everyone else at Yale!!! I'm like 80 perecent sure its gonna happen.
Tomorrow I'm auditioning for quite possibly the best summer job ever: performing shows for toddlers at the Central Park Zoo. Come on, 15 bucks an hour to sing songs about animals? Really?
Um, what else? I got tickets to THE COLBERT REPORT on may 29th. The countdown BEGINS! So should I wear a cool t-shirt or what? I need Papa Bear to notice me like Jon Stewart did. Also, who wants to go with me and Jason? We have two extra tickets. If anyone wants to plan a Colbert trip, please let me know cause it would be a shame to waste these tickets.
In love news, I'm still in it.
In sports, the padres are starting out right. Let's hope this is the year they show the chargers how to take it to the big show. World Series baby!
The end.
