Friday night we went over to my Mom's house because she wanted to have a garage sale Saturday morning..Friday night,Granny went to bed about 10pm and woke up about 1am and Mom,Granny and I were up until 5-6am playing card games... yakking and drinking coffee...Then Saturday morning rolled around and instead of the garage sale we did gardening..after they were done,we went to go inside the house...Mom's neighboor had shown my grandma his TIMES magazine with a picture of Barack Obama on there....and that sent the rest of the evening on politics...All 3 of them were MCCAIN supporters and I was the only Obama supporter. Aside from that point,before John came over for coffee and cake,Mom said the most INCREDULOUS thing I have EVER heard in my LIFE! My jaw almost hit the floor,I couldn't believe my ears..she told my Grandma and I QUOTE " Barack Obama is NOT the first black president.. to me he is the 3rd,NOTHING SPECIAL"....
EXCUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSE ME!?!!??! Nothing special..Barack IS in fact the FIRST black man in office....she went on to say that Jimmy Carter and whoever else,because they were all for giving more to the blacks they were considered "black" to her..but Obama being the REAL first...she doesn't see any SIGNIFIANCE to that!! WTFFF! I just cannot believe she would DOWNPLAY that IMPORTANCE saying it didn't mean anything..I am SO proud of my country that we adopted our first BLACK man in office...and you have DUMBASS MCCAIN SUPPORTERS out there acting like butthurt spoiled children...My Mom,Grandma,my friend's stepdad...almost ALL McCain supporters I have run into have ALL being going around whining and crying about how McCain didn't go in...BITCHES MCCAIN HIMSELF SAID HE WANTED BARACK OBAMA TO WIN,BECAUSE HE FELT HE WAS RACING AGAINST HISTORY...MCCAIN SEES THE IMPORTANCE AND THE BEAUTY OF OUR FIRST BLACK MAN EVER TO BE IN OUR WHITEHOUSE....AND YET ALL YOU IDIOTS HAVE TO TRY AND DOWNPLAY THAT....YOU SHOULD BE AS PROUD AS ME..(IF YOUR NOT SOME RACIST PRICK) THAT WE AS AMERCIANS HAVE COME TOGETHER AND UNITED AS ONE... Freaking people in NY are being friendlier to each other,SMILING,sharing taxi's JUST to talk about OBAMA being our President...our world has united...even other COUNTIES are HAPPY about the whole Obama thing...and yet,McCain supporters try poo-poo'ing on that (thanks atm LOL)
I'm ashamed of ANYONE I hear....saying anything against the importance and the IMPACT of Obama going into office.... because he's black...And ANOTHER thing...stop your fucking bellyaching and WAIT to see what Obama DOES,he hasn't been in office THAT long ... you CANNOT expect miracles to happen over-night...Stop thinking we're gonna have a quick-fix..JESUS!
