Election 2008
I hope everyone remembers to go out today and vote! If you haven't already..get yer booty out there and cast your vote! I just got back from going to vote myself...went fairly quick than I had anticipated. I got there,and these 2 guys were yelling and having a fight in Spanish for some reason but I couldn't get what they were saying...so I wouldn't be able to say anything about it...then I went in,showed them my card and ID...told me to go to a number,I went there..asked my last name,told me to go the 3rd person on the tables,she handed me the paperwork told me to fill out both sides,to go to the booth's then when I was finished to place the ballots into the machine..I placed them in the machine,the man gave me a sticker and said THANK YOU FOR VOTING! I was SO proud of myself! I feel so,adult right now! Like I've contributed to a greater good.I walked out beaming,and they all knew that it was my first time..and I was like YUP YUP ^_^ ! Then on our way back home,( less than 15 minutes to vote) the cell rang and it was my uncle and I picked up and was like " I VOTED I VOTEDD EEEEE" lmao! He started laughing at me!
Now..I wanna find out...who wins and be HAPPY when my guy gets announced as president ...OBAMA/BIDEN!!!!
