I'm NOT crazy.

I live in an ocean of light. It’s not something I talk often about with others, but I can see endless motes of light everywhere. If I look at a plain background, say a blue screen they stand out more clearly. The darker the better. Now, sometimes this is the after image of a really powerful light: the sun, fluorescents, etc. But once I isolate those impression I can see the motes.

They look like squiggles, stars, floating symbols that make no sense. If I’m really relaxed I can see people pushing these motes around as they walk. At first I thought it had to be dust or a trick of my eyes. But over 20 years of watching these motes I can tell you, I’ve seen dust, I’ve had my eyes tricked. They’re there.

I can really see them at night. The lack of background light allows me to see the endless procession of almost wormlike light that shifts around me. It doesn’t really illuminate the world around me, i.e. I can crash into things. In fact I think it messes up my night vision slightly.

I’ve claimed to see auras, and this is true. Most the time an aura is a field around someone, semi transparent, that shifts when they move through these lights. I notice it by absence more than it being there. Only if I relax my eyes can I make out colors.

I wonder what I’m seeing…
