now...HERE'S something you don't see everyday...

Ok, so i was down at the shucks in kirkland, getting stuff for my car, and i decide that i feel a bit peckish. Keep in mind that i've been working on the car for 6 hours, and while my hands and face are clean, my jeans and t-shirt look...well, they look like i've been working on a car for 6 hours.
I walk into the Old Country Buffet, and I stop dead still in my tracks...
The place is packed, wall to wall, with Japanese School girls.
Every where i turn there is a pack of giggling, chattering schools japanese school girls...
i couldn't breathe...i couldn't see...i was walking around in a haze, trying to catch some phrase i recognized, and desperately avoiding eye contact. i could just see myself trying to smile and be polite and someone screaming HENTAI!!!ECCHI!!! and suddenly i'm being maced and dragged out in cuffs.
I discovered something, though. Most of those girls were the same age as my daughters, and while the IDEA of a pack, and i mean a PACK, of Japanese School girls is neat...but the reality of it is just that they were a bunch of giggling little girls, and while they were as cute as can be, squealing with delight at the self-serve soft cone machine(which made my heart melt and renewed a BIT of my faith in humanity), it just isn't as exciting as one would think.
