What is this, the dark ages?
My TiVo is on the fritz. 95% chance it's a failing hard drive, as all the signs point to that. Half my recordings are nerfed, and if I hook the unit up to a valid signal, it freezes and reboots.
So, for the next few days (until a hard drive replacement kit arrives), I'm stuck with what recorded shows I have that didn't get trashed and... Basic Cable. Plain old no-pausing-no-rewinding-no-program-guide-no-HD-channels Basic Cable. Oh, the horror!
