Consider this my resignation. The police force had nothing to do with my actions.
Stop all your damn talking and get something done. Stop saying there was a better way. Stop asking what’s being done. More than enough of you were willing to tell me what I should have done. This is what I think should have been done; I think you fight fire with fire, I think you do whatever you have to in order to protect a city. If you have a better idea, go do it.
But I’m done trying to save a city that isn’t worth saving.
