Anyway, yes, I definitely do not want to see you drop Haru, because he is awesome and I love him. First off, have you canon reviewed recently? I reread a huge part of Furuba (canon reviewing for Rin) and I totally got the urge to play her hardcore again. Just noticing little things that I can use in posts/comments really made me interested, and since Haru has way more screen time than Rin, maybe this would help! I don’t see anything wrong with you reflecting something he does in canon, like telling a scary story that’s actually not scary over the guide, or getting lost for three days (with the question of how on earth did he bathe). He can ride his bike around the Thor while in biker get up, brag about stuff on the guide in a roundabout way, etc. The thing about Haru is that he’s very quirky while coming across as serious - at one point I’m pretty sure he says he wants to get a weird ass tattoo to piss people off, with a totally straight face, which makes Rin laugh, because uh, HELLO, the cutest (and weirdest) boyfriend here.

Haru is a weird guy! So having him caught doing weird things either in a log or an action/video post is totally acceptable, I think. I mean, this is a guy who was just standing in the sprinklers on the school lawn, and when MainCo&Friends see him, they’re like, Wtf. He also dresses up a lot, and I was reading in the Furuba guide …something or other, that Haru spares no expense on fashion. So have him go on a shopping spree! Ask people to come along! His commentary is also pretty humorous while serious, like telling Shigure “just don’t get arrested” when he brings home a maid’s uniform for Tohru. With his friends, just have him in their living rooms, chilling on their couches while reading or playing a handheld, without asking. He’s Haru, he also does what he wants!! He used to sneak out of the hospital with Rin and stuff, too, so you also have the ability to have him sneak in and out of places that seem cool.

You might be boring yourself because you haven’t been using him to the extent of his “abilities,” so to speak?? With commenting posts, I guess I’d suggest commenting on something really obscure and weird about them, or having it ~*remind*~ him of something, or just have him stare off into the distance (because he does that too). From the point he’s from, he doesn’t turn black all that often, but you can definitely have some sort of running plot with some people that builds him up enough that he finally snaps. He says weird things so don’t be afraid to play that up. C’mon, this is the guy who said, “She turned blue, then white, then a muddy color. It was awesome, you should have seen it,” and then proceeds to brag about her boob size, while being there for sympathy and the sexual harassment of Yuki.

Yeah, I definitely haven't been using him to the extent that I can. I seem to do a lot of what you've mentioned with Riku -- the weird quirks, the randomness, the deadpan comments, and clothes stuffs. It's easy to do with Riku, but I want to do it with everyone, for the most part. I'll have to take canon reviewing into consideration, 'cause when I started to do some of that a few months back, I think it did help a little.
