End of December announcements!
×) On Activity Check through January:
×) We wound up not doing activity results for November because of the sheer number of people who didn't respond to the AC. In light of this, we would like to request that if you didn't post your November activity at the beginning of December, please do so now so that when we go through the AC for January we can see at a glance that November was done - we don't want to remove anyone from the game for inactivity by mistake!
×) If you didn't post at all in November, you can use posts made in December to make up for it! So if you're missing your one November post, you can use one from December to stand in its place. We're going to be pretty flexible about this, since we know how crazy the holidays are, so if you're not sure about anything, please ask!
×) Just a reminder, we're not worrying about AC for December! But please be prepared to go back to our usual activity requirements in January!
×) The room upgrades and promotions post will be going up the evening of Wednesday, December 29th
×) As many of you have already noticed, reservations and applications are now open! We'll be going through the first round of applications on Saturday, January 8th, in case anyone was wondering.
×) The January Improbability Drive Event:
One of the S.S. Thor's many brilliant teams of scientists has been debugging their newest attempt at a weather simulator when the Drive turns on - and suddenly, all hell breaks loose! Your character might be sleeping soundly in their bed when they're rudely awoken by a tropical thunderstorm right above their head! Or, even crazier, suddenly it's snowing cotton candy or raining frogs (or frog men?)! Different crazy weather is happening all over the ship - one part of the ship may be sunny, one part foggy, and another completely flooded by overwhelming rainstorms! What and when your character experiences is up to you, and, naturally, if you don't care to participate, your character can remain in a circle of calm, non-weather through the end of the event.
The event will begin on the evening of Tuesday, December 28th and run through the evening of the 31st.
×) As always...we're in need of newspaper articles! If your character has been up to crazy shenanigans that a reporter might have noticed, please drop us a line (or even better - an editorial!) in the Suggestions post.
