NEWS AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Okay, Mostly Harmless! It's time for more mod-spam (your favorite kind, we know), so please take a moment to carefully read this post! As always, questions and comments about anything herein are welcome, so don't hesitate to speak up if anything confuses or concerns you.
On Magrathea:

…What do you mean it's over already? We weren't finished! D:
…So skipping the Teal Deer: As many of you might have suspected, it's a fake! It's not the real thing at all. But don't worry! You can still get your money back. How?
Basically, we're going to leave it up to you. Here's how it works:
×) Get to plotting! We've spotted a couple of IC responses to the hideous revelation that you've been cheated out of your hard-earned money, and that is awesome! We want to encourage more of that! Feel free to plot IC-ly, and then either respond here or in the mod suggestions post with your plan, so we can let you know how things will turn out when your characters' plan is implemented!
On AU characters:
First off, we'd like to thank everyone for their insight and opinions on this. It was a tough decision to make (and we have the pulled out hair to prove it), so having everyone put in their two cents helped clear a path for the final decision!
We've decided to allow doubles of characters into gameplay on a strictly case-by-case basis, following permission being granted by the player already in-game. Even after permission has been granted, there will be an extra part in the application to prove that yes, they are indeed different enough in personality and backstories to be considered complete alternates.
What is considered an AU:
A CANON storyline that is completely different, using a character of the same name and likeness, with some similarities.
ie: The World Ends With You
What is NOT considered an AU:
Characters from the same series, just presented in different media with slight story changes.
ie: FullMetal Alchemist
We'll be putting up the rule changes in the application, FAQ and the rule pages for any future applicants.

On helper mods and wiki mods!
A full and hearty congratulations go to both Jade and Kit, Mostly Harmless' newest slave monkeys helper mods!
And in a similar vein, we still need volunteers to moderate our wiki! If you've ever had a fiery, burning desire to break into the great and glorious field of codemonkeying, now's your chance!
