Ahem. Yes. The long and short of it is, the next time the Infinite Improbability Generator kicks on, you lot are all turning into Pokémon.
(Except that this is completely optional, of course. But y'know, it'd be more fun if you did…)
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
Pretty much what it sounds like.
×) What your character becomes (or not) is entirely up to you, of course, though in the interests of keeping things on an even field we're going to request that you not choose any Legendary/one-of-a-kind Pokémon.
Please avoid choosing these Pokémon for your character:
×) Articuno
×) Zapdos
×) Moltres
×) Mewtwo
×) Mew
×) Entei
×) Suicune
×) Raikou
×) Lugia
×) Ho-oh
×) Groudon
×) Kyogre
×) Rayquaza
×) Celebi
×) Jirachi
×) Arceus
×) Manaphy
×) Shaymin
×) Dialga
×) Palkia
×) Phione
×) Deoxys
×) Uxie
×) Mesprit
×) Azelf
×) Heatran
×) Giratina
×) Cresselia
×) Latios
×) Latias
×) Regigigas
×) Registeel
×) Regice
×) Regirock
×) Zorua
×) Zoroark
×) Whether or not your character retains the ability to speak or is suddenly only capable of saying their new name is entirely up to you.
×) For those characters who are unfortunate enough to remain human or reasonable facsimile thereof, Pokéballs will be provided free of charge, so that you too can live the ultimate dream of catching them all! (Just please make sure you clear any capture attempts with any muns involved first)
×) Random alien NPC's are - as always - affected by the event as well. If your character really, really wants to catch that shiny Magikarp and no one else's character has been forced to turn into one, there's still hope! Just find a random NPC to capture! No mun/mod permission needed. Just, uh, be careful how you treat it, because when your shiny Magikarp turns back into a hideous gelatinous blob monster at the end of the event, you're probably going to wish you'd treated it better.
×) The reverse is also true - if you wish, your Pokémonified character can be captured and held hostage by an NPC trainer. What tales of horror and despair will they have to tell come week's end? Only you can say!

We'll be compiling a FAQ from any questions asked here to be posted at a later date a bit closer to when the event is actually scheduled to begin. At this point We're looking to start the event on May 3rd, but that could change! We promise we'll keep you updated, though!
×) ETA: Though we definitely encourage diversity, there's also no reason two people can't pick the same Pokemon for their characters! So if you absolutely had your heart set on Psyduck and you see someone else has 'claimed' it, you don't have to pick something else if you don't want to!
