Rooming arrangements

× To upgrade to the Deckswabbers, they need Minimum Wage; to upgrade to the Condos, they need at least Somewhat Decent Wage, etc.

× They need to have worked at this level for at least a month.

× It also depends on how much money they waste, but we leave that detail up to you.

× Certain characters might be able to get around the issue of money, due to mysterious magical abilities or similar. If you think this might apply, ask us.

× Please let us know if your character chooses to room with someone else. We will keep the rooms list updated with where they are actually sleeping from now on. Of course, if you'd rather they keep their own room as well, they will still be listed there.

× It's also possible for a character to be kicked out of their room or apartment if they fail to pay rent, in which case they'll have to stay down in Stowaways or be listed as homeless - let us know which you'd prefer when requesting this type of move! - until they can upgrade again. They can also choose to downgrade if they can no longer afford their room, for instance if they lose a roommate.

× And lastly! If your character was just brought aboard the S.S. Thor this past application round, they are not eligible for room changes/wage increases at this time.

Mission levels

× To get a mission with Somewhat Decent Wage, you need to have successfully completed at least one mission previously. To get a mission with College Degree Wage, you'll need to have completed at least three missions at the Somewhat Decent level. To get a mission with CEO wage, you'll need to have completed five missions at the College Degree level.

× Some absence is permitted, as long as you can prove that you were sick or injured during that time, or have some other valid excuse.

× But if your employer didn't like you, it doesn't matter how great you were at your job anyway. On the other hand, sucking up to the boss works.

× We now also have a permanent jobs page. If you'd like for your character to apply for one, that is where you go.

× The same applies if your character chooses to open their own business. If your character already opened up shop, you need to go there to comment.

If you want your character to get a promotion, upgrade or downgrade, comment here with their name, username, and which job level and rooming arrangement they had previously. It's important that you let us know if they're getting a job promotion, as that's the only way we'll know how many missions of that type to come up with.

Please replace the brackets with your character's information in the following form when responding:

[Current room #] / [Character's name]
[Desired floor] / [Desired wage] (when applicable)

If your character isn't upgrading rooms or earning a raise this month, then you don't need to respond to this post (unless you have questions about anything, of course!).

Just a reminder, there is a time limit to request promotions and upgrades, as it's unrealistic that we'll actually keep checking this post throughout the month. So make sure you let us know by the end of Monday, January 2nd. And even if you're not planning to upgrade this time, please double-check that we have you at the right level, as we might have missed something. >.>

And that's it for now!
