About those Preventer jobs and that Winter Gala 8)
Sup Marshmallow Hangers. Look who went on hiatus and totally didn't stick to it. At all. c: Anyway, I'm off that precautionary hiatus now with deets on the jobs Preventer offered on this month's Lightning Post and how they connect to the upcoming Winter Gala. In italics are the IC memos each of your characters will be receiving upon taking these jobs.
Invitation Delivery
This position entails delivering invitations to the upcoming winter gala Preventer is hosting on the 24th of December. Please pick up the invitations at Preventer HQ.
If you want, we can log this out when the usual Preventer work log goes up on the 10th. Rebecca Crane is in charge of the digital version of the invites. Nini, maybe you can talk this over with Rhi? Kyoya can say Rebecca designed the network post. Invites go up on the network via a post from Kyoya a few days after the last intro flood so all the delicious fresh meat can get in on it, too. 8) If you still want to sign up for this job, slots are still open here.
Crystal Artisans
This position entails carving, polishing, sculpting and shaping a giant crystal donated by a generous alien investor into a variety of decorations for the purposes of the winter gala. The ball's theme is winter in all its sparkly glory but minus the chill. It also draws inspiration from Hans Christian Andersen's The Snow Queen. Please keep this in mind while making the decor.
I'll be setting up a thread for the artisans on the Preventer work log but feel free to network post or log amongst yourselves, too. If you still want to sign up for this job, slots are still open here.
Carousel Repair
An old carousel donated by a Thorian toymaker with refugee sympathies bears an assortment of creatures, both alien and mythological, painted in black and white. Though it no longer plays music, it's still good for a spin. Besides, the orchestra for the ball will take care of any symphony it needs. Minor maintenance required to keep it from stalling. Please handle with care.
This position has been filled by Akira Takizawa. Akira-mun, if you have any questions, do ask. Feel free to set up your own thread in the work log. 8)
Public Relations and Promotions Team
Led by Mr. Kyoya Ohtori, the Public Relations and Promotions team is in charge of getting the word out about the winter gala and getting as many refugees as possible to join in the festivities. They'll also be in charge of scoping out a caterer and other additional employees to work toward the success of this venture.
Rhi will be setting up a thread with Kyoya for the PR team to have a meeting in the Preventer work log. If you still want to sign up for this job, slots are still open here. And Jess, dang I need your expertise on how to set up party logs next month, man. LMAO, IC-ly and OOC-ly, you are the master.
Secretaries and Agents
Same responsibilities as always. Do reports. Field work. Answer some calls. But hey, if you have any ideas for them to get involved in party-related things, tell me! Agent sign-ups are here. Secretary sign-ups are here.
Miscellany
Jen, are you game with making some black and white mistletoe as the first assignment Wesker gets on the new contract? :) Let's brain this out. Weird effects, ahoy.
I'll probably keep this event happy so yeah, no more terrorist subplot.

Btw, security at this shindig is tight. Before you get in, think of your character being subjected to something along the lines of airport security: patdowns, x-ray and metal detectors. Please don't have your character bring in a weapon without saying so first. We can say they declared it and have a permit to carry or something. 8)
As for next month, we'll be needing catering, waiters/waittresses, security, surveillance control room staff, an orchestra and singers. If you have any suggestions for what these jobs should entail, please say so here! We can assign these jobs OOC-ly and iron out the details here if you want. Surveillance control room is currently Zechs and Wufei's responsibility. They'll be taking shifts. Please say so here if you want in on that bit. They'll be getting a separate thread on the party log. c: As for the orchestra and singers, the music will be mostly fifties and sixties.
