Happily, the new year has been good to me.  However I've lost the ability to string coherent sounding words together.  Writing is suffering.  Suffering.

I once heard that if you're bored writing, then your writing is boring. I once had a huge amount of problems with one bit of the Fic of Doom- couldn't seem to sit down and get anything done. Then I realized that I couldn't because I didn't like that chunk at all, erased it all, and rewrote it with a lot of bad jokes and running around knocking into trees. Voyla.

Not sure if that helps, but meh.
