... even in my head, this sounds like odd crit, but:

Have you considered picking up more characters?

I mean, don't get me wrong. I think you're doing great with Une! (And... well, I admit, I haven't seen Dorothy around as much. Am I stalking the wrong logs?) But it seems to me that she's running laps around other characters in terms of activity, and I'm a little surprised you haven't picked up another character or two to invest some of that tagging energy into.

I actually got anon crit on being too active with her at one point. Is this a concern? Do I put her in too many plots or does she get into other people's business too much? It's something that's been making me for nervous for awhile now. 8(

As for Dorothy, I tend to use her to tag people who I can't tag with Une so that may be why you don't see her around as much. I rarely use both to tag the same post.

I would totally app another character but Gundam Wing is the only canon I'm confident enough to app for since I'm not very good at writing apps. 8| I can't app more though considering that I already play two from it.

Well, yes and no. I mean, I don't think you're forcing Une whether she's not wanted or needed. But at the same time, there have been posts that I'm surprised she was interested enough to tag, and presumed it was because... well, you wanted to, and Une was pretty much the only character to do it with. Not ideal, but understandable.

So I don't think it's something to be nervous about. I wouldn't think of it as a problem that needs to be solved, but merely a situation that could be improved.

And... yeah, okay, I can more than understand having trouble apping outside of one fandom. I'm the same way with Lunar -- out of six characters I've played in games in the past few years, three were from Lunar 2. If you could skip the app process and jump right into RPing, though, is there any character you would want to play?

Ah, well, I'm not exactly sure how to address that. I tag a lot but I do make sure it's IC when I do. Has there been an instance when I tagged a post and it seemed OOC of me to? I'm not exactly sure how to phrase this asdfghjkl;; I've always thought that that was one of the challenges of RP? To tag someone even if ICly they probably wouldn't be interested? And make it IC?

How exactly can it be improved?

Hm, none that I know of atm. Other fandoms would seem more like work than play for me to put in a game right now. New jargon, new terminology...

I think Jess just explained things far better than I could. LISTEN TO JESS, SHE'S GOT A GOOD HEAD ON HER SHOULDERS, I'M JUST A ROBOT. And when I have a little more time, I'll see if I can go diving back and find some specific examples, since I do know how much they can help.

Hmmmmm. What are fandoms are you in, if I may ask? Because there's always other Gundam series, which I think would have some overlap in terminology. Just alternate timelines and Newtypes and what have you.

The other ones tend to be radically different in setting though. If Gundam AGE is any good this October, maybe. Welp, started watching Gintama. IDEK what else...Ga Rei: ZERO I guess. It's been awhile since I've watched it though. Gothel from Tangled also crossed my mind a few times but I'm not sure how to play her in a jamjar like this. All of this would require lots of canon review though hence the hesitation. I remember liking Mushishi too...

Are you kidding? I would love to have a character as active as yours in my cast. As long as you stay IC and keep track of your posts for less active castmates, I wouldn't worry about it! :)

I'm actually going to agree with Pie! Now, before you go, "JESS WRYYYYYYYY" it has nothing about how to play your characters -- you're utterly fantastic, on the ball, and spot on. And I don't have an issue with how active you are or anything!! In fact, I'm jealous at how around you are. But it feels like you want to participate in so much Une ends up being the one to do it because she's the only one who'd be interested (because Dorothy would just run them over in her car or something) -- if you were to expand your character roster (even by one!) you might be able to spread yourself out comfortably, if that makes sense? Like, you'd be able to create CR with characters who Une can't feasibly connect with, and participate in more, like you seem to want to! And you'd be able to focus on Une's CR instead of spreading her thin

HAHAHA oh god I ignore everything except the movies. Ariel's beginning? CAN EAT MY SOCKS. Though The Little Mermaid 2 was cute -- yeah I still pretend it's not actually canon though. And I think there WAS a TV series for it too.... also ignored.

And it looks like someone might be apping here! There was a reserve, last I checked.

I guess I'll see what their canon point is and see if it meshes. I wanted to take her from before her wedding goes to hell so she's human. Kinda hard to play if her cover as Vanessa is blown. Fingers crossed then. 8U
