BLAST FROM THE PAST!
This is nuts! I haven't seen my livejournal in 2 years! I used to love this thing. The web lay out is pretty fierce compared to the old set up. I'm feelin that... lol.
Let's see stef update for the past 2 years...
Well, when I last left you I was about to have my first burlesque performance up in DC with the DC Gurly Show. It went fucking awesome and led to a hundred other performance, a documentary, a theater event, and some back up dancing dates (which I find hilarious.) I also formed my own troupe which in a year and a half has done much, because bitches are lazy... myself included. I haven't performed since the winter, and I have a show on Oct. 4th... should be good. My gbf Casey is supposed to be my robot in the performance, and I think I'm more stoked for that than anything else. I'm also going to be in a pin up competition this Sunday, and I'm actually nervous about that. :/
Hmm... other than that. Ryan and I broke up and got back together a few more times and are now on a seemingly permanent hiatus, but we're still the best of friends and will be for-ev-ver.
I've worked at Hot Topic for a year and half now. That's been pretty sweet. Its super sweet now because I work in fredericksburg and its not drama like woodbridge.
Man... this really is kind of crazy. My whole life is different now. Look at my fucking userpic. Look at how my star bandana totally matches my hoodie, and prob my shoes! God damn... I am so unscene now... its funny. Really I got over having to punch people in the face for trying to punch me in the face. And I know "blah blah.. its gonna happen in the pit blah blah" I went to shows for quite a number of years, it was fun, I loved it. I loved dancing aka "throwing down" I won't even front like I wasn't good at it either, but as with everything that this area takes in, this area completely ruined the scene. It just got to be too much after having to work and then go to shows, and have all these underage girls try and start shit with me, because I wasn't as consistent with my show going as them. I remember at random Fests the older bitches who would be there looking tougher than tough itself and they looked horrible and unapproachable, I never wanted it to come to that and I never wanted people to look at me like that.
So here I am, still me. Chiller than most. I craft and make clothes now, because it helps to pass the time. Instead of moshing, I dance at indie/80's/hip hop dance nights, and that's way more fun because I don't have to protect my face. I still do burlesque, but its just a hobby and I have more important things to worry about. I'm doing movies and modeling too, but I'm not saying much about either until all the work is done. I will tell you that I've learned how to stab people without stabbing them actually, and its a lot of fun and I like to practice.

Other than that, I'm going to use this thing again I swear. It won't be 2 years until I post again.
Now I'm going to go look at my friends list, because I'm bored and the internet seems way more fun than sewing :)
