They arrive in the upper part of an abandoned factory - down on the ground floor bits of machinery litter the ground, but up here it looks a little more lived in. In the loft there is a fold out couch, an old easy chair, a low coffee table and a few other bits of furniture - all of it second hand and worn down with years of use. The colours are 1970s browns, mustard yellows and virulent greens.
Another room which serves as the workshop is down the hall and a long table covered with bits of gears and clockworks can be seen through its door.
"Come on in and rest up. I'll get the stove on."
