Note: Trying something new with this journal and attempting to write songs for the prompts. This isn't something I do often and the results are pretty rough trying to write and record in the given timeframe, so please be gentle with me! <3

Pun not intended re: the first line of the chorus, but this was haunting. It reminded me of the way I felt about someone for years after we parted ways.

I can remember feeling like this about other people in the past, in that, I know that I did, but thankfully, there's no one in my life I feel that way about anymore. I guess, in my case, finally finding someone I wanted to settle down with forever just made all those all ghosts disappear, and I'm grateful. But I do get this, and at one time in my life, I could relate. You've really captured that sensation well here. Hugz. ;-)
