I used to think that the worst thing in the world would be if my children grew
up as criminals. I still think that.
But just as bad would be to be a politician, or even worse, a political appointment.
The more I come in contact with politicians in my job, which is unfortunately
every day, the more ill I am. Even worse is a hack that's given a little power, i.e.,
the political appointment.
Luckily these folks never feel a need for friendship, because they do a great job
of alienating everyone that comes in contact with them. After all, they have
the juice.
In the words of Lucy Van Pelt: I love humanity, it's people I can't stand. mo
