Vash the Stampede
❦ Vash is an important person to Kaori, regardless of what her current opinion of him may be. He was the first one to help her when she arrived in Luceti after all, and he even found her stuffed rabbit for her. Also, he's been considerate enough to not ask about her blindness even though he's noticed it, though at this point they're both aware and open about this fact, resulting in Vash offering aid to her whenever she needed it. He's also the one who knows the most about her life back home, Kaori being comfortable enough to share this information with him early on since she's come to see him as a big brother figure.
It wasn't long ago that she was used as a puppet by his enemies to get to him, and though Vash keeps apologizing, she doesn't blame him one bit for it. In fact, she wants to help protect him by whatever means she can, even if it means teaming up with his brother Knives to achieve it. Despite their conflicting views on Humans, they manage to get along for now, for which Kaori is grateful..br />

❦ Spada is just such a nice guy in Kaori's eyes. He helped her out during the Total Recall event, and was perfectly patient with her even though she was wrinkling his expensive suit (she's not going to bring that up again though, being aware of his dislike of noble life). He didn't even have to do much to gain her trust, meaning that she sees him as a good person and hardly likely to form an ill opinion of him. Even now that she knows what he really is like, she still enjoys having him around and unlike with other people she likes, she actually gives him space, trusting him to come back safely if he's able. She knows better than to make her worry about him obvious, especially when he's proven that he's capable of taking care of himself, though after his mallynap she couldn't help doing so. She also does not fault him for not realizing she was stuck in the clinic, because he was taken less than a day afterward.
They have their bickering, they're both blunt, and they like to troll. But for someone who is willing to help out and deal with her blindness, she couldn't ask for better company for a housemate, and she trusts him to help her because of that.

❦ An exception to Kaori's hatred of Humans, Masaomi was fortunate enough to first meet the girl when she was de-aged by the Total Recall event. He managed to somehow say all the right things and gain her trust immediately, playing along with her fantasy that he was her knight or something like that. Though she was confused about how to feel about him once the experiment was over, he proved himself worthy of giving a chance to, since he did make her a promise. Such things are highly valued where she's from.
Then she ran into him after Mikado's mallynap, finding it very hard to ignore his emotional situation. Things became hostile several times when Kaori would call him out on lying about how he was really feeling, and at some point she let it slip that she's blind. While they're still on decent terms, she's now wary of him, and prays that he won't take advantage of her like other Humans have before him as she sees him as a reminder of why she once loved Humans.

❦ All it took was one conversation for Kaori to want to see out Mithos and protect him because of how similar they are. What started off as accidentally overhearing him play his sister's song became something of self-reflection on her part, especially because they seemed to have many of the same opinions about those who hurt them. About those who took away people they loved. While he ended the conversation rather abruptly once he told her his name, the two met up again anyway not long afterward, when Kaori tried to sneak out of recovery at the clinic. They shared more of their feelings with one another, slowly realizing that they could trust each other even though they were afraid to. After all, having someone who completely understood was something they didn't have before coming to Luceti.
Even though months have passed since their first meeting, they continued to grow closer and begin to trust each other more, comforting each other during the overwhelming loneliness. Little by little she has learned more about him, even extending her hand in friendship while she was caught in a Shift that reduced her to a young child, before she was broken. He was in need of a friend, and she couldn't ignore that. When she resumed her normal age, she was confronted with the reality that she had left him alone for nearly four months, a truth for which she feels guilty still. In that same reunion, she found out that Mithos has no home to go back to; in his world, he's dead. It's only served to make Kaori more determined to stay by his side, especially after she was informed that he was murdered by Yuan. Unfortunately, Mithos didn't take her relationship with Freyjadour very well; despite her best efforts he was angry and said some hurtful things, leaving her confused and alone to deal with the pain by herself.
But even though he did that, Kaori doesn't want to lose Mithos; she'll do whatever it takes to make him smile and be happy during his borrowed time.

❦ Perhaps the man she fears most in Luceti right now, Kaori was unfortunate enough to be used by him as bait to get Vash to deny Rem, leaving her terribly hurt mentally and physically once he was finished with her. It was enough to land her in the clinic for an extended period of time, resulting in even more emotional damage to her. Now that she knows who he is, she is determined to stay away from him.
Unbeknownst to her, she has already spoken to him again, when he brought up the destructive tendencies of Humans over the journals. Realizing their mutual dislike of them, she has agreed to meet up with him again once others who share their opinions have been gathered. It'll take a lot of careful effort on Legato's part to sway her to his side before then, if he intends to make use of her once more.

❦ The Prince was permanently placed on Kaori's list of people to watch the moment he mentioned having silver hair. The amount of hope she felt when realizing this was enough that so far he's the only one in Luceti whom she's consciously told her Auria name, helped along by the kindness he showed her then. The next time they met, however, was when both were affected by an experiment that had them fall in love with each other. While things were mostly innocent, she did give him a feather, the equivalent of a marriage proposal among Auria and one of the most sacred promises they can make. Even under the effects of the experiment, she would not have given it to him if she did not feel she could trust him and was worthy of making a promise to.
They were drafted and fought together soon afterward, where he saw her at one of her weakest moments since arriving in Luceti. There he told her kind, sincere words that she has never heard from a Human, leaving her feeling confused inside over whether she was deserving of them. This makes her even more worried about eventually having to confront him of the meaning behind the feather she gave him, though a part of her is hoping it won't drive him away afterward or make him hurt her.
