This was probably one of the best Christmas's ever!! Saturday after work, Brad and I drove to his mom's new house in Quakertown and shared Christmas Eve with his mom, Frank (step-dad), Oma and his sister Aubrey and her husband Evan. We had some really good eats. It was really tasty. I got a Max Lucado book titled "Grace For the Moment. Inspirational Thoughts for Each Day of The Year". I also got a candle and a little Santa pin. His Oma gave me candle and a snowman mug. Then we went to bed, got up in the morning and drove to Brad's anut and uncle's house in New Jersey. Wow, are they loaded. The whole Fleisher family was there--three aunts, his grandparents, uncles, cousins, his dad, his two little half-brothers (Evan and Matthew) and his step-mom's best friend. Brenda was not there. (the step-mom.) Apparently....she's going to be having a baby in a few days...which is complete news to Brad and I. Which sucks. I feel really bad for him. Yea. But I'm gonna make a baby blanket for the little one, and when it's born, we'll drive down and stuff. ANYWAY....
So yea. Everyone opened gifts and stuff, and his Aunt Carolyn gave me a picture frame so I can put a nice picture of Brad in it, (yay) and his grandma got Brad and I matching shirts and sweatshirts from Old Navy. Hehe, so it's really cute. And comfortable. His Dad gave him some pots and pans, a knife set with a block and everything, and silverware. He also got a grittle as well from his Mom and Frank. And it was so much fun!!! Good food there too. Matthew and I played Guess Who? which Evan got for Christmas. (Evan is 3 and Matthew is 5.) So that was fun. And then I played against Brad and won...a lot. And then we played against Kenny while Brad and Jason (Brad's cousins, who are twins) played "Twenty Questions" which they got for Christmas. I beat Kenny, and then Brad's Dad and I played Guess Who. I won the first game, and then he beat me the second time. Everyone really seemed to like me. His Auntie Anne wants him and I got visit her in DC, which we'll have to do. And Meena (Brenda's best friend) wants to visit or have us visit again real so because she "really likes Sara." (That's me.) So it was awesome!!! I really like his family. I called my Grandparents and wished them a Merry Christmas, and talked about New Years dinner with them and Brad. So as long as we don't work...we should be good. And hopefully we can do Christmas with them soon too. It'll be nice.
But yea.... I had an amazing time. I really love Brad so much, and I can't wait to be apart of his family.
