so i can talk about a lot of things, that i will discuss later..
i could talk about
my family and friends being awesome at my graduation party
some of my best friends about to play ozzfest and being on mtv (cross your fingers)
doing band stuff and sending out demos to get shows in dif states and such.
but i wont, ill do that later.
after 16months of waiting and giving up and playing it on my guitar and making up words to it, i finally received the Highschool football heroes song "believer" and i can die happy. i dont think ive ever been so satisfied or happy , well prob, but this is jsut as cool.
see, the highschoolfootball heroes and me go back a long time, even if they dont no it.
april 4, 2002 was down by ones first show at the redzone. they played after us and that was when i fell in love.
after that i saw them many many various times after that, and played a few shows with them, including our only castle heights show. that was also a big plus when me and liz would hang out and all that jazz, we would hang out and wathc highschool play or listen to there viva la rock cd.
fast forward to cbgb's february umpt-teenth 2003, me and jared and binder go see high school and talk to george become aquaintances and such.
februrary break, iafc's first show at redzone with lol, hsfh, and asob, proves to be amazing. it was the same day i returned from florida with the fam, and me and my sis and andi go to redzone. we were gonna go with tom hannel but his mom didnt wanna drive in rain, so mine did.haha. iafc's first show started off with a binder chant, pat was still causing problems during lol shows back then, me and andi had a lil fling, and highschool and asob were amazing as always.
that was when redzone was amazing cuz of like 150 kids just squished in there up to the front of the stage which is now unheard of. goodtimes
george hs then goes out with merri and we chill on the beach one summer night, and then merri and george has problems, and that was alil situation.
now some ppl didnt wanna go see hsfh at warped tour cuz of the merri situation, but i was smart and i attended with kate haubrich and mike malave cuz theyre amaazing. and they played amazingly and there version of "believer" was prob the best ever.
and thats about it...i havent seen them play in about 10 months, and didnt even pick up the new cd. but thats all about to change, they rock and deserve my attention again.
plus i still rock there shirt every once and a while.
ah memories...it was so different back then. jeez
bye
