Vista vs XP

Vista Pros
Visa has theoretically improved security (I consider the security only marginally improved over a properly configured and managed XP PC).
The interface is prettified, but for maximum “shiny” a reasonably powerful video card is required.
Instant search (like Google or MSN desktop search only a bit better).
Vista will be supported and patched by MS for a very long time.
DirectX 10 (a video game enabling technology) is only available on Vista.

XP Pros
XP is less expensive.
XP is faster and requires less memory and less hardware (memory and video) to run well.
XP has much broader application and device support and compatibility.
Administrators and technicians have a great deal of experience supporting XP.
XP has less restrictive licensing and fewer problems with “product activation”.

Vista=Yawn. Am I missing something here?
