Chapter 1
1. When Jem breaks his arm.
2. Atticus and Jack were home schooled. Atticus went to law school. When he had money he gave it to Jack for med school. When Atticus finished school he got married and had Jem and Scout . His wife died. Atticus is now raising Jem and Scout alone.
3. A small layed back town in Alabama. A town where everyone knows each other.
4. Scout and Calpurnia have a mother daughter relationship. Calpurnia teaches Scout a lot about life.
5. Dill is a little boy that stays with his aunt Rachel and he seems really confident in himself.
6. Boo Radley is a quiet man who keeps to himself and is hardly ever seen. The town sees him as a crazy man and who everyone knows to be aware of.
7. Jem goes up to Boo Radleys house and touches the porch.
Chapter 2
1. He encounters Miss Caroline.
2. They care more about there pride then what they have.
Chapter 3
1. The readers get the idea that the Ewell’s are not wealthy.
2. ?
3. Scout gets in trouble because she misbehaves.
Chapter 4
1. Scout finds 2 pieces of gum in the tree. Jem warns her that it might not be hers so she should not take it or be careful.
2. Jem also finds gum in the tree
3. ?
Chapter 5
1. Scout is mad at Jem and Dill because they keep on teasing her and telling her to do things she doesn’t want to do.
2. Scout and Miss Maudie don’t have that great of a relationship.
3. Miss Maudie thinks that they should stop bothering Boo Radley.
4. The children perform the play…
Chapter 6
1. Mr. Avery is
2. When Dill looks through the window he sees a shadow walk by.
3. Jem needs to get his pants back from the yard of the house.
Chapter 7
1. Jem tells Scout all about what happened to them.
2. They bothe find gum in the tree and they know that it is for them because of the last time they found it.
Chapter 8
1. Jem and Scout make a snowman with the little snow that they got. They made a small snow man mixed with dirt because there wasn’t enough to make it only out of snow.
2. There is a huge fire at there house.
3. Calpurnia wraps the blanket around Scouts shoulders.
Chapter 9
1. Cecil Jacobs said that Atticus was affending niggers, and saying that got Scout mad so she beat him up.
2. Atticus’s upcoming court case was Tom Robinsn verse Ewell family, and Atticus said that he thought there was no way that Tom was going to win the case.
3. Atticus said that he took on this case because if he didn’t he couldn’t hold up his head in town, I couldn’t represent the town in legislature I couldn’t even tell you and Jem not to do something.
4. Uncle Jack was a head shorter then Atticus.
