WOW!
So...it's been since November that I've made a post. I come to LJ almost everyday to check on things that everyone else is doing, but for some reason I just haven't posted.
I spent almost 4 weeks up north this summer. Even went to Minnesota on a spur of the moment to stalk Nick Leddy's Cup day. It was a hoot!
Aside from that, just had a great time. Went through my brother's things that my parents had put off to the side to see what exactly I wanted to keep. One of the best things was that my best friend was back in Iowa from Washington to get her girls ready for college, so we got to spend quality time together.
Last week I QUIT my job. Yes, you read that correctly... QUIT! I am now jobless. I just couldn't take anymore from them. I was tired of being stressed out and underappreciated. I made them tens of thousands of dollars by my student's test scores the last seven years, and then I get my contract, and its for a LOT less money. That was it for me. DONE!
I am constantly amazed by the quality of writers over on AO3. We I was writing in the hockey fandom we considered ourselves pretty darned good. Holy Moses! These people are outstanding! From OMC fics, to daemon fics, to Chelseaverse. UNREAL!
I am also over on tumblr. Basically there to just reblog pretty hockey boys. :)
