You're back!!! *tacklehug* I've miiiiiiissed you!

Overall, the arc is over-hyped, under-plotted and it features the most embarassing panels in season 8. The nerdgasms are funny, but the rest is messy, clumsy and utterly silly.
And this is one of the reasons you've been missed. What a wonderful and concise review. ♥

I was at vacation, and I missed all the drama. Pity I couldn't ask Meltzer if his Buffy is a Tolkien fan; but,maybe, it was for the better that I was mountain-climbing when the issue got released.

Buffy thinks this is a trap because vicious orcs are coming, not because the man she loves conspired against her and killed her slayers. Uh-huh.
