And I'm still slightly confused on the timeline. When exactly would Xander have had a chance to sleep with her in the last nine months, if this is end of Season 4/start of Season 5?

There may be some illusion going on on Xander's part. Or some more creative history/memory editing by the monks. Hmmm.

I try Monks try to keep as close to canon as possible. In canon, Faith woke up from coma February 25, 2000. Right now, it's November.

Arrgh! I missed that completely. My reading comprehension must have been under the weather that time.

Apparently, I made the timeframe of their encounter too obscure. When I was writing the chapter 2, I decided that the mention of coma is enough to indicate that it happens soon after Faith has woken up; I should have added another reference to the time the scene supposedly takes place.
