Actually, the idea isn't mine. Three months ago I went to our local BtVS convention in Kiev, and we had a lot of discussions and somebody wondered what could have happened if it had been Buffy who wore the amulet, and I started thinking about it... et voila! :)
If you tell me what particular scene you want iconed, I'll gladly make you a BA avi. :) I did a lot of icons for Seasonal Spuffy and can experiment with BA for a while.
I really enjoyed the what if of this - partially because I consider myself horribly bad and being able to get my own mind to imagine the what if and write it, so to see someone take a what if and play with it is a treat.
I found it amusingly true to imagine about the only way Angel and Buffy would work through things and grow close again would be if they didn't have the option of retreating. :-)
When I've got this plot bunny, I decided that Buffy's ghostle state would be a perfect metaphor of Buffy and Angel growing apart. And their learning to touch each other would be a good metaphor of overcoming their alienation.

And I want you to know that it's tkp who helped me to shape this story into its present form, to get rid of unnecessary elements, to polish dialogs, to fix errors.
Loving how the little details(and big ones) changed from having Buffy around during season 5. I enjoyed this very much, great stuff and thanks for sharing!
