One of my New Year's Resolutions was to make a serious effort to get back into manga and anime. I used to be a total fangirl, but once I got into junior and senior year of high school I kind of let off, and by the time I moved to college I'd almost completely lapsed out of it. But over Christmas break I started reading some of my old Fruits Basket manga, and what started as one or two for nostalgia turned into the whole series for love. So upon my return, I found a site where I can read scans - MangaFox - and chose the one at the top of their Most Read list, Gakuen Alice.
And oh my Jesus I love it. It's so cute, but interesting at the same time, and as of the third volume, completely absorbing. It's almost tearing me away from my new Jacob/Bella fanfic addiction. I should probably be working on, y'know, homework or something, but psh. Manga and fanfic are so much more relevant to my interests.
